Mary rose, soprano
In 2024, Mary Rose will join Puget Sound Concert Opera again for Il matrimonio segreto as Carolina and Kitsap Opera for La Cenerentola as Clorinda.
In 2023, Mary Rose performed in the Seattle Opera School Outreach Tour as Mariana in Frida Kahlo and the Bravest Niña en el Mundo. Mary sang the soprano solos Handel’s Messiah with St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Katy, Texas. She was also a featured soloist with Seattle Chamber Orchestra.
In 2022, Mary joined Puget Sound Concert Opera for Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon singing the title role. She also made her Puget Sound debut with Tacoma Opera as Norina in Don Pasquale.
Her other previous roles include The Vixen (The Cunning Little Vixen), La Comtesse Adèle (Le Comte Ory), Eliza Doolittle (My Fair Lady), Lady Psyche (Princess Ida), and Morgana (Alcina).
Mary received her Master of Music degree from Louisiana State University where she studied with Loraine Sims, and Bachelor of Arts from Luther College. She is based in Seattle, Washington.
